Home is a special place where I feel safe and happy. It’s where I spend most of my time with my family.
When you come through the gate, the first thing you see is this big garden in front of the house. These flowers in the garden make my mother very happy. She waters them every morning and takes care of them with love. I planted the roses over there.
Now, let’s go inside. You will see this big living room when you walk through the door. This sofa here is where my family sits together every evening to watch TV. We have fun, laughing and talking about our day. Over there in the corner, you can see that bookshelf. That shelf is full of books that I love to read. The books on the top shelf were gifts from my grandparents. They are important to me because they remind me of the wonderful stories my grandparents used to tell me.
My sister painted those paintings. At the end of the hallway, there’s that door that leads to my bedroom. This is my favorite place in the whole house. That bed in the corner is so comfortable, and I love spending time here reading or listening to music.
Finally, let’s go outside to the backyard. These chairs around the table are where we sit and enjoy our meals. Look over there at that swing. That swing has been there since I was a child. I have many memories of playing on that swing with my friends.
